Is the sound of the vibrato channel on the Deluxe Reverb like having the Bright Switch (like on the Super Reverb) on and the sound of the normal channel like having the Bright Switch off?

Yes. The vibrato channel features an extra cap in the tone stack (designated "C10") to compensate for decreased treble response at low volume levels when the tremolo is used. Many players find this enhanced treble boost objectionable and remove the cap from the circuit. For additional details regarding the procedure, go here......
