hi pleople. im new here.
i planning to get an amp but still im not sure of what.
i was thinking about getting a fender ultimate chorus or something like that.
i want something clean. i've been playing for about 2 years and sometimes i have to
play at different places and my 50 watts amps is not enough.

i've been looking and so far fender is one of my options but
i also thinking about line6 since those amps have tons of different sounds.
i play a fender classic series 70's reissued and also was thinking about changing pickups
cause the 70's are kinda noisy.
i play little of everything. mostly clean sounds.

my budget is not that high ill say about 350.
i dont mind getting used stuff is they are good.

any advice is welcome.

i also dont know if i can connect a 30watts or 5watts head to a 100watts cabs and if that is going to work and sound laud

Do you want a combo or a head and cabinet?

What is wrong with your current amp? 50 watts is more than loud enough for all but the largest venues and then you just mic it.

Here's some of what you can get new in combos for $300 to $500.

Here's some used in the same price range.

I do a lot more recording and experimenting than gigging, but I do jam with other folks sometimes, so I was trying to find the perfect one amp solution. It did not work out that way though. I did get pretty close with the Mustang V. $350.00 is a pretty tight budget in my realm....
So far for versatility this is what I have going on now..

Vibro Champ XD -- Good bang around amp with a line out and miked to a PA, not bad for a cheap solution. Works really well with my Motion Sound KPS200S and gives me that wall of amps sound I like... I hook the Vibro Champ XD up to my 1 x12 ext with the Cannibas Rex and can get some pretty good tone out of it... I have thought about buying the Super Champ XD, but I have a Blues Junior that is 15 watts.

Blues Deluxe Re-Issue with 1 x12 ext and a Cannibas Rex -- Damn fine tone by itself and a couple of pedals..

Blues Junior with a Cannibas Rex and use the ext. above with it.. Good tone by itself and a couple of pedals.

Mustang V with 2 x12 ext. and two Texas Heats -- Overload maximus -- Overload maximus maximus with the effects out sent to the Motion Sound..

Fender Frontman 212r with two Texas Heats -- Loud and clean, but I have to use my pedal board to get really good tone..

Motion Sound KPS200S mostly for acoustic's and sound re-inforcement. This is a keyboard amp on steroids. They run around a thousand dollars new, but I found one for $450.00. Good clean 200 watts of sound from whatever you can plug into it and it has eight jacks to plug stuff into it...

I also like a lot of effects so I have around $1500.00 of those and a powered pedal board.

If I only had $350.00 to work with and judging from my Mustang V, I would probably go with a Mustang III until I could get what I wanted... It would give me the effects and different amp models to try out to see what was close to what I like in tone from the clean presets. I do not like 1 x12's though unless they are in a big box and the Mustang III cab looks a little small.

I ain't no expert and each musician has their own idea of what tone they like though.....

Your 50 watt amp..so.is it solid state or tube? I am gonna guess that it is solid state cuz 50 tube watts is almost too much for a club. I have a 40 watt Hot Rod Deluxe that I have yet to turn above 4 with a drummer...Hell the drummer asks me to turn it down! If you are on a budget try the Mustang III. It is a modeling amp and prior to the Hot Rod Deluxe was my "go to" amp. That one is 100 watts (solid state?....are modeling amps technically solid state?) and it gets VERY loud....that one I have turned up to 5 or 6 before being asked to turn down (by the drummer AGAIN!.....What a weenie! LOL!) and it only costs 299 bucks! The Deluxe I mentioned earlier is more than twice that but, I am VERY happy with it!
