Hi!

I own a 94 model Twin Amp (Evil Twin), manufactured in 1998.
In the cabinet there's a layout for tube location.
I cannot find anywhere in the manual witch tube is for what function.
Of course I know that the 6L6's are the output tubes.
There are 5 12AX7's on locations V1, V2, V3, V6 and V7
and 3 12AT7's on pos. V4, V5 and V8.

I checked the internet and only found something on a Telecaster forum, but I think that guy was also guessing.

Does somebody know what the tube functions are, please let me know.

Thanks,

It takes 4ever to load, doesn't work.
Is it the same schematic that comes with the manual?
I've got that one, however I'm not an electrician and that's abracadabra to me.

Then why fret over it?

Found it, sorry, it's the wrong one.
This is the schematic for a "Red-knob" The Twin. Mine is a Twin Amp '94 (Black Face).
The red knob is often mistaken for the '94 but it's actually its predesessor.

Why fret about it? Well replacing a tube isn't rocket science, you just have to know whitch is whitch.
What I actually need is plain info about the tube function from someone who already knows.
Maybe I spend some time pulling tubes one at a time and test what doesn't work than.

Well, I'm Dutch, my English is probably not perfect too.

I got that schematic, it came with the amp manual.
As I said in one of the previous replies, I need someone to tell me what tube is what.
I have problems reading the schematic, I'm not educated on reading electronics schematics.
I just want to pull the right tube and replace it.
Replacing the output tubes and adjust bias and balance is not a problem, the other tubes is just replacing them, no adjustment needed.

You'r Dutch and I'm french Canadian. I'll try to show you.

Look your amp from the rear, start counting tubes from right to left

First tube is call V1 on shematic, it is a 12AX7 or ECC83 is the same , second tube is V2 , 12AX7, ECC83......V4 is 12AT7or ECC81, V9 same, V10,V11, V12, V13 are your 6L6

I thihk you could now replace tubes
