I am looking at a blues junior on the Clist and wondering if it would be a point to point wired amp? The owner says it is a one of a kind and I cant find any info on it' He lives a good ways from me and I would hate to drive all that way for nothing. Were any of the newer bjuniors wired P-P ? It looks to be a cream color which is transparent and the wood grain can be seen through the finish on the cabinet. There is a sticker that reads made in Corona Cal. and a number B-146698. It seems strange someone would have a amp like this and not know that much about it but I guess it is possible. I ask him to take a picture of the chassis and he sent a picture of the back of the amp. I cant even see the speaker.

How much is the seller asking for the amp?

Fender has at times released very limited editions of certain amps that are point to point (and are quite expensive) but usually unless the owner or someone else has modified the amp it has just a common garden variety PCB. Fender also occasionaly will release special editions of their amps with different cabinet finishes and speakers (and charges a hefty premium for them), but the guts of the amp are unchanged.

Also, there are companies that offer point to point wiring kits for DIY or will mod the amp for you. As you can see here, they are not cheap:

You asked for a photo of the chassis and the seller sends you a photo of the back of the amp? Time to say "Buh-By" to that seller.
