Having a problem with radio station coming through amp. Any ideas or is there a product that runs between amp and outlet to supress white noise? Thanks

Okay, question time. Worked in radio most of my life. How close do you live to a radio tower. Is it an AM or FM station? It might be the house. Might need to add some more shielding to you amp. Sometimes the station will send out an engineer to look at the problem.

This mean not enoug shielding in amp or poor shieding.

This could be
1-A Tube too much sensitive
2-Tube shield missing or with a poor ground.
3 Poor wire shielding inside the amp.

or ; Nothing to do .

I fix a Vox AC30 , old one, for a friend couple months ago; short story;

A well know very noisy amp AND like your's, radio in the amp.

I do a big job in the amp found one tube noisy ( a JJ ) replace a lot of wiring for shieded wire, replace plates resitors etc
The amp is now very quiet and sound fantastic BUT always radio in . Radio only in is studio, never heard radio on gigs. No radio at my shop too.
Studio; old building, old electric wiring, poor gound

You might try adding some shielding to the underside top of the cabinet. I don't recollect whether the new re-issues have this or not but the vintage blackface amps all have a piece of aluminum window screen stapled there to help suppress spurious RF signals (the later silverfaces used a sheet of .005 aluminum to accomplish the same task).

A window metal screen could do the work too.

I used to get walkie talkies when I lived close to Fire Dept.
