My Pro Junior III has had a loud ringing buzz/hum sound since I got it 6 weeks ago. It's annoying enough that I have stopped using it. I have tried 3 different guitars, two different guitar cables, and several different power outlets in my house including one I know for sure is properly grounded, and the noise is always there.

I took it back to the store and they tried it out and said they didn't hear anything abnormal. They said they'd send it back to Fender for me but doubted Fender would find anything wrong.

I am a rookie with electric guitars/amps so is this kind of noise normal? Or should I get it sent to Fender for a check?

Thanks inn advance for your advice.

May be you have a bad earth globally at home. Did you test it in another place (friend house ...)? Does it make noise with a guitar unplugged and no cable ?

It could be a noisy tube.

Also try to unplug and plug all tubes few time , this will clean the tube/socket contacts. If you never unplug a tube , be carefull; should be cold before and chek the pins position and amp at OFF and unplug.
