The frickin' thing is 9 days old....the repair better be FREE. I'd tell the service center to send the bill to FMIC.

This is why the newest amp I own is a Concert from the Rivera era at Fender...the last of the Point to Point hand wired amps! 25+ years and still works great. Sounds like Fender needs to fire thier QC supervisor. Way too many problems with new amps, but at least they have a pretty good warranty.

When you get it back keep us posted as to what the problem turned out to be.

At least they will fix it since it's a premium US-built tube amp.

Fender doesn't repair the lower-in-the-food-chain fizz boxes from off-shore (ie: the "Fu Manchu's" and some of the VM models). They just hook-shot the miserable sonofabitch into the nearest dumpster and give the customer a new one.
