Fenderites unite! I have trouble....

There is a terrible buzz and hum coming through my effects loop. I have tried many different configurations to determine if it is a faulty patch cord or whatever; but it keeps coming back to the loop. And yes, I double checked to make sure it was properly set with the send and return.

Anyone else have this issue?

Thx,
Ben

I take it that the amps sounds fine with nothing in the loop? If so, plug a known good instrument cable from the "Preamp Out" into the "Power Amp In", and tell me how it sounds.

There isn't much to the loop, a couple of jacks and an op amp. Judging from your description of the terrible noise, it really sounds as if your effects were hooked up backwards in the loop, or something is wrong with an effect in the loop. But, try the cable and see what happens there first.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
