I need an amp that can be used for an acoustic as well as an electric. Does anyone have experience with this amp and know if an acoustic guitar would sound right through the clean channel? In my experience a lot of amps don't deliver clean enough of a sound for acoustic guitars. Or could anyone recommend an amp that sounds great acoustic and electric? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would recommend an acoustic (7ender) amp with pedals for electric guitars connected in Line In. Just try ...

+1

Some folks have also reported good results with both an acoustic and an electric when using the now-discontinued Jazzmaster Ultralight Amp.

That is what attracted me to the FM 212R. Its clean channel can deliver pleasing acoustic tones. I play my big jazz box through mine and in addition to jazz, I get some very nice sounding acoustic/pseudo classical sounds.
