How do I check the ground lift button with an ohmmeter ?> With the power off and nothing plugged into theXLR connector. One lead on the chassis and the other lead on_______________.
...Confused about it it because I tried it with one lead on the chassis and the other on the little tab on the bottom side of the XLR connection. When the button was in it read closed(continuity) and when the button was out it still read continuity. ??????

Pin 1 on XLR is ground, check from amp chassis to pin 1 of XLR. Sounds like the little tab on the XLR jack is connected to the chassis to ground the XLR shell when plugged in.
