I bought it used condition last month with a GE-412 cabinet (roc pro). in terms of the cabinet, can anybody tell me what brand of cabinet or speaker should I use for this amp.

thx

You can often find OEM footswitches for various Fender amp models on Ebay. If you can't locate one there, give the Musician's Friend website a look-see.

Your Supersonic 60 head can operate at 4-, 8-, or 16-ohms by selecting the desired impedance using the rear-panel switch. IIRC, the GE412 cab is 8 ohms.

thank you arjay,

i forgot to write "best sounding cabinet or speaker" for the amp, hehehe.
I feel not fully satisfied by the way the ge 412 sounds, maybe you can give a little advice on what should I do in terms of the cabinet for the supersonic, hehehe.

thx

AFAIK, the GE412 cab is loaded with Celestion G12P-80's which are or have been OEM in several Fender amps over the years. They're "okay" but I don't think they sound as ballsy as the V30 or the Greenback. I guess it really depends upon your ear and what type of music you play.

thx a lot arjay for the info,

I have tried the SS using a friend's cabinet which is a marshall JCM Slash signature. the cabinet is loaded with celestion V30s and it sounded really good, that's why I feel unsatisfied with the ge 412. somehow the V30s made the SS sounds more articulate.
another homework for me then to save some money and find a cabinet with V30s in them..hehehe.
btw, which one is better? buy a cabinet like the marshall JCM Slash signature (or any other cabinets with V30s or Greenback) or buy change the speakers in the GE412 with V30s or Greenback???

I often see bargain-priced V30's on Ebay......that might be more cost-effective than selling your cab to buy another. If you choose to replace your speakers, be sure all of the new drivers are the same impedance (either 8 ohms or 16 ohms).
