Dear all

I got a Fender Deluxe VM from a friend that hase the following problem and asked me to find a solution.
What I've seen is that this amp has a quite big amount of hiss.

Looking in internet, I found several forums (but witout solutions) where a large number of persons have the same issue with this amplifier.

Any solution for that?
Is possible, eventually, to have the schematics please?

I don't now how to be more. I mean: the "hiss" it's jsut the kind of noise is hearable. It's not a "hum" but a continuous "sssssssssssssssssssssssss" that doesn't change with any controls. Even if the volume is to 0 I have it.

If it is a kind of "white noise", you can suspect a preamp valve. I don't have the schematic and it seems not a full valves. Have you got the schematic ? :?

Right, it looks alike a "white noise".

I have not the schematics.

It's a brand new. It was given back to the shop in order to have assistance. No way out. they where not capable to solve the problem.

I was looking for solutions in itnernet just giving to Google the issue. I noticed that many many people have the same issue, but no-one was able to solve it.

If I have the schematics I can go through and try to find where it comes from. But I have not found them neither here on the Fender's website ...

That's why I decided to ask to all of you. Perhaps somebody found the source of the noise.

The amp is still under warranty, that's great.

I do'nt think so because oen yera is already gone, that's why he asked to me.
he likes so much the sound of that amp but the issue must be solved.

Do you think I have to think that it's better to resell it and to choose another model?
Or is there somewhere some Schematic or solution?

Even the tubes are fully new, so I'm quite sure are not defective tubes.

Fender provides a 5-year transferable warranty on their new amps. At least any circuit issues should be covered. Have it checked out. Maybe a replacement is in your future !!
