Hey so I have the Fender Hot Rod Deville 410. It is too big/loud for what I currently need. What would happen if I just took out 2 of the speakers? Would it mess up my amp at all? Any help would be great!

Your HRDvl needs to see an 8Ω load at the output jack. A second 8Ω load may be added via the extension speaker jack. Your 8Ω speakers are currently wired in a series-parallel configuration. The only way to correctly do what you intend is to connect a single speaker to the main speaker jack. You may also connect a second single speaker to the extension speaker jack. But be forewarned, this arrangement will have diminished power-handling capability so do not max the amp's volume in this condition.
