I was wondering where the current Hot Rod Series and the Blues Deluxe amps were being made? If not in the US, when were these amp lines moved and to where. I'm very interested as I would like to purchase one but I would like a US made amp. I'm Old School Fender.

I believe the Hot Rods are made in Mexico. Mine is anyways but I bought one years and years ago so Im not sure about the newer stock. I believe the Deluxe is made in the US, if I am wrong, sorry. I am sure someone will kindly correct me.

I'm pretty "old School" myself, but the Hot Rod is a great amp and I have had mine for at least 5 years now I think and touch wood its been a rock, no problems what soever

Hot Rod series amps changed over to Mexico manufacture about five or so years ago. They are as good or better than they have ever been, since we improved the input jacks and a couple of other little things.

If you desire an "old school USA" Fender, may I humbly suggest the Vintage Reissue series, the Pro Tube series, or the Custom series amplifiers. All are built in Corona, CA., USA.

Best Regards,
Shane

Just to let everyone know, I was able to score on a "Like New" HRD 60th anniversary edition. Got a great deal on it. I know it's a Mexican, however, I was able to play on a brand new HRD in the music store and fell in love with it. when I got my "new baby" I went to the hardware store and bought the stuff to make a new "cradle" for it. ( Padded Road Case). These HRDs are SWEET! I play a Squier Deluxe Strat ( Daphanne Blue) and this thing sounds AWESOME!!
