Hello all. I recently purchase the Tweed Blues Jr. I love the way the amp sounds but it just isn't loud enough. Which Fender amps have the same tone as the Blues Jr but just a little louder? Suggestions please.

Non :) The BJ is the only EL84 Fender amp... your next amp is probably a DRRI, if you like the way your BJ sounds you'll fall in love with the DRRI tone!

You can also take a look at the new HRD III.

+1 that DRRI has a tone all of its own... you can get some of the cleanest cleans out of it. haha Its a pretty awesome amp

and maybe give the supersonic 22 a shot. Its based on the Deluxe Reverb circuit, but has its own distortion channel to it.

It'll be different than your Blues Jr. but its probably one of the best amps on the market. I'm hoping to get my own soon during the holidays...

The supersonic too is VERY loud by the way.... it's funny that they now have bigger and twin models now too.

Go DRRI and never look back. Or if you want the EL84 tone, look at the Peavey Classic 30.

+1

The DRRI for traditional blackface tone, the PeeWee C30 for a "tweedier" vibe.
