I ordered it Friday .
I went trying a bunch of amps, all sounded great. Some were
Better. I kept going back to the 15 single channel tweaker.
I have always liked it.
I spoke to sweetwater and the guy I buy stuff from he suggested
This amp.

It's a 2 channel amp.
Plus gave a great deal.

Just yesterday I had the pleasure of playing an Am Dlx Tele through a Tweaker while testing out my new pedal. That Egnater was great, I'd love to pick one up. Enjoy your new toy!

Looks like a real flexible piece of gear -- congrats!

We'll expect a full sonic report of course......with pics.

During the winter, I went into GC hungry and walked out, slipped into the house, with a Tweaker 15. Had a good coupon, so it cost about the price of a good pedal and a good sandwich (ok, really good!). I like this babie; lotsa fun. Unlike many other devices I have tried with many switches, each Tweaker selection make an obvious sonic difference in the tone. Doesn't really sound particularly like a Fender or a Vox or a Marshall to me, but the sounds are distinctive and very usable. I am into as many flavors of clean I can find. I'm certain the Tweaker 40 and 88 have lots more headroom, but for low -mid volume playing, the 15 is quiet and has some mighty tasty offerings.

bluesstrattone, very cool and congrats! Yet another into the fold of "The Brotherhood of the Egnater"

You do know the Tweaker 88 will be out soon right?

Seriously though, great amps and I'm sure you'll be real happy with it. The cool thing I like about Egnater is all the switches really do different things to the sonic pallet. Unlike many other amps I've tried that do hardly anything when you hit a switch.

Your totally right,
My friend has a tweaker 15, and it's awesome.
I went to gc, they had the 15, I a b with the rebel
And kept coming back to this one, so I called sweetwater
Because they're staff has prove knowledgeable, jmo
They suggested the 40, not out yet. Til friday.
The 40 is plenty for me, well the 15 was enough.
I know the tone will be different due to the 40 watts,
And 6l6. The beauty about the 40 watt is 2 separate
Foot switchable channels,footswitchable effects loop.
"tweakable".
The 88 has a boost foot switchable switch. Way cool.
I'm gonna get a mxr carbon copy and a simple reverb pedal

I must add, guitarcenter has one knowledgable person.
Other than that, the rest are ok, I blame mgmt for not
Inservicing them on the products they sell.
I asked the guy how the tweaker compares to the amps
It's suppose to approximate. :?
I showed him how it worked.

Yep, the Tweaker runs an open back cab which I think will get you a little closer to the "Classic Fender" sound. The Rebel can get fairly close too. I agree abut GC, they are kind of hit and miss as far as knowledgeable sales people go.

When I run my Rebel 20 through an open back cab at 20 watts entirely on the 6V6 side, it sounds very much like a Deluxe Reverb to my ear. Especially with a bright, Fender-y speaker (I use the Eminence Red Fang that Fezz recommended back in the day.) With the Eganter Rebel 112 cab, it's a different animal.

"Fezz"......?

That's a name I haven't seen in quite some time.

I wonder how Chris is doing?

He's one gifted guitarist for sure.

I remember Fezz. EgFryer ,didn't he build that sweet little little amp for you? I think it had green tolex, but my geezer brain just can't remember the details.

He did... but I ended up selling it to Bill in CT, the guy known as NeoFauve. He loves it. It was cool, but it only did one thing. It did that one thing exceptionally well.

The Rebel is a much more versatile amp, and I don't have the space or inclination to stack guitar amps along the walls because the studio demands that I invest in a wide range of junk... I've got microphones hat cost more than a DRRI, a small-format digital mixing console that cost as much as an early 60's refin Strat. My work needs preamps and processors, mics and monitors, software and synths. So for me it either works hard or it gets replaced.

Sweet! I love my 15W Tweaker and cabs! I checked tubes recently, (it came with Sovtek 12AX7WA's and Chinese Ruby Tubes 6V6's, Egnater Logo'd - Q tested) and I was amazed at how well that amp sounded with the stock tubes. I was getting a few little pops and crackles so I retubed. The amp sounds even better now with the EH's I put in it. The Tweaker switches have even more effect and the amp is more dynamic.
