i have a combo with no extension speaker jack, and i know some amps come with those.

is there any way one can be installed, and does that mean i could run the amp through a cabinet?

What amp is it? Usually if it didn't have one there is a reason for it.

Not sure but I think you could go with a 4 ohm or 8 ohm load and be okay ss amps are more forgiving than tube amps. Measure your speaker ohms if it reads about 6-7 it's an 8 ohm, about 3 it's a 4 ohm. Use 2 of the same ohm speakers and you'll be fine just match the ohms to 4 or 8, series or parallel.
