I don't use my FM 15 in drive mode I feel it as really dirty, may be the use of a pedal on the clean mode can be a good alternative. 8)

Did you also borrow the Digitech's instruction & operator's manual?

It takes a good bit of time to tweak one of these multi-effects pedals to get the desired tone(s). And you'll never be able to do that without the booklet.

A Digitech Hardwire TL-2 http://www.hardwirepedals.com/TL2_Demo/ ... -demos.php or a Digitech Hot Head http://www.digitech.com/en-US/products/hot-head or the Digitech Grunge http://www.digitech.com/en-US/products/grunge
and a BEHRINGER EQ700 http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/EQ700.aspx

Would probably be a good start...

Add a flanger, octave, tremolo and analog delay pedal for good measure...

I stay away from Multi effects, I could never get the tone I wanted from them and I do not like becoming dependent on them for my sound...

If you like Boss a MT-2, OC-3 and a BF-3 http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetai ... rentId=254

I would still use an EQ with it.....

If you are on a budget, or just want to experiment before buying some expensive pedals, here is a cross reference chart of BEHRINGER to other pedals....

The RP150 should be able to dial in some decent metal tones. If you know how to create your own patches, create with amp model 'S9', compressor on about 3-5, EQ as you like (for the BFMV type tone, full lows and highs with scooped mids should get you close). Don't take this the wrong way, but if that's not a 'heavy' enough tone for you, then you need to learn to play metal  YMMV. Good Luck.
I don't think an FM amp will get you a very heavy tone.

I tryed RP150 on his amp with same preset and his amp sound much better and nearly the same tone i want.
And on my amp sounds much worse.
