Went to look at the spec sheet online tonight and the 22 watter is no longer listed in the ProTube section along with the SS60 and SS100.

Did Fender already pull the plug on this line?

Could be. I just checked too and it's not shown anywhere on the "products" pages.

Perhaps FMIC is doing some site maintenance and the listing has been temporarily removed......?

Weird!

I'm hoping the SS22 is getting some circuit revisions......loosing the misc. pops, hisses etc.
I'll give it another shot if and when that happens. 8)

I owned one for 3 days. The white noise hiss was just unacceptable; the popping when switching channels was very annoying. I do hope they have "heard" what SS22 owners have said about the amp and are fixing it. If so, I would buy another one as soon as they release them.

Interesting if they do revise the amp and address those issues ... not sure though where that would leave those of us who are hanging on to our SS22's because we love them otherwise and are putting up with the noise issues ... eligible for a warranty fix, or stuck with a flawed Rev. 1 ?

What Fender really should do is issue their R&D guys some cotton buds to clean out their ears so they can hear what we can all hear and fix it,...... before they release a model to paying customers.

Agreed...

I'm still at a loss as to why none of the retailers who post the toneful demos online have ever mentioned any of the snap-crackle-pop issues so many of us have delt with.
Is it possible each one of their "consumer" amps are issue free?????

Yea, it's back. There's also a slant 4x12 cab there. Isn't that new?
