So today my quest finally came to an end.

I took the SRRI that sounded so great to the shop where i borrowed the TRRI and the DRRI from, where the freshly ordered SRRI came in. Here i compared the 2 amps as a final test and comparison. If the new SRRI came close to the older one, i would buy it.

So as expected the new one indeed sounded a bit different than the older one, especially the first 30 minutes. A bit stiff but that was to be expected with new tubes and new speakers. i knew enough, this one was going to be it.

So as of now i'm a proud owner of a SRRI!
