Hi can anyone advise what cabs are suited for my Vibrochamp XD?
I would like to plug the amp into a cab for a larger sound, using the amp as a head.
Any info would be helpfull.
thanks and cheers

Any cab with an impedance of 8Ω will work fine. You'll need to disconnect the amp's internal speaker beforehand.

Hi Arjay, and thanks for your reply. So the Vibrochamp XD output is 4 ohms and a 8 ohms cab is ok? This is the part that I am having trouble with.
Can anyone explain what ?ohms cab is needed for a 4 ohms amp.
I have looked at other forums and there are some diferent opinions.
Any info is helpfull thanks

A typo, Glenn -- my apologies.

The VCXD is indeed intended for 4Ω operation.

Thus, you could conceivably use a 2 x 12 cab with a pair of 8Ω speakers wired in parallel or a 4 x 12 enclosure with a quad of 16Ω speakers wired in parallel.

HTH
