And this has precisely what to do with your assertion that Weber has gone "downhill"?

Since Ted's passing the quality of the Scumback speakers being made by Weber VST has suffered. Because of that and other issues with Weber VST Scumback speakers are now no longer made by Weber VST.

Good enough. I have no way to verify this allegation but your opinion is always trusted and respected.

However, pissing contests are common among former business associates -- perhaps Weber grew tired of producing speakers for a competitor and let the quality slide to precipitate the severance of ties. Just my conjecture.

That said, Weber's own speakers remain as high-quality alternatives to the OEM junk typically installed in garden-variety production amps.

Gnome saing, mon?

Yes, Testoterone Tossing Contests are common in situations like this.

Personally I am going to stick with what I like.

Weber dumped Scumback is probably the main "other issue"

I doubt Ted was making the speakers himself. Wouldn't blame his passing.
Scumback and Weber have a business disagreement.

Don't know how many defective ones you purchased "yourself"
I know Scumback's posse is on a relentless slander campaign against Weber on other forums. Surprised I was reading this here.

Anyhow, was wondering if anyone here was using a Heritage Greenback.
And how it compared against the Stock C12k
