Hello Fender Masses.

I was wondering if the 65 Deluxe Reverb RI, ever came in a cream colored cabinet? I played and amp today at the local store and I was told it was a 65 DRRI. It said Deluxe Reverb on the front, but there is nothing like it on Fenders website.

Just curious...

What an amp, I have a Hot Rod Deluxe now and I'm thinking of trading it in(plus some cash obviously) and picking up this one.

Thank you very much. I did find one pic of it on google since I posted it but couldn't tell if it was for real or if someone converted it. It was a pic on someones blog.

Does anyone know how "Limited" it was? How many were in the run?

Would it be cool to buy one from the store now? or has it been sitting there forever?

...it sounds great so I guess thats all that matters.

We built about 150 of those (as far as I can remember) last year. It was a limited run for the western region, and had a Jensen Alnico spkr and the Limited Edition badge on the back panel.

Before that, I recall that in the mid 1990s we built some blonde Deluxe Reverb amps.

Hope this helps,

Shane

Thanks again for the information
