Dear All,

Last year I bought an Acoustasonic Jr 40W to use with my Epiphone EJ-200. It was a good combination and I have no complains about the amp.

However I've just bought an electric guitar and I wonder if I can plug the guitar in the Acoustasonic. Can I damage the amp? If I could plug, can I use effects pedals?

Tnak you very much!!

Cheers,

Leo

I have the Acoustasonic Jr (40W x 2) amp and I have played all manner of guitars through it with no ill effects. It's just a nice Fender amp and as long as you don't abuse it, I doubt you will have any trouble or damage it.

The amp is built to amplify acoustic sounds more than electric, so the range you get out of it is limited, I think, but for clean sounds and leads it's fine. It's not an amp I would take to the bar and crank on.

HTH

Hey Dennis,

Thanks for the answer.
Just to clarify, what do you mean by ill effects? Distortion?
What about a blues driver pedal?

Once again, thank you very much
