Buzz with no guitar plugged in? If so, sounds like back to Long & McQuade under warranty.

If buzzes with Telecaster plugged in, does placing your hand on the bridge reduce the noise? Or you have another guitar to plug in and tryout (hopefully one with humbucker pups). And maybe another patch cord?

Probably valves I would say. Try swapping them out or get the dealer to do it.

also check what you have the amp plugged into, if you are running a strip connector with a mixer or monitor pluged into in it can cause considerable buzz on the amp... i dont know exactly what ur set up is but if you running other speakers as well, if you have your signal cables lying with the speaker power cables this can also cause buzz... if this isnt the problem and you dont want to take it back to the shop then open up the amp and see if there is any lose wires, solder joints... ( dont use ur bare fingers, use a pencil or something, and make sure the amp is off if you go prodding around....)

Return the amp to the retailer and insist on a replacement.

Tamper with nothing lest they attempt to void your warranty.

I had that happen once. Ended up there was a hornet's nest in the upper corner.

Ok... Maybe not.

Don't wait, valves are under warranty only 3 months, I guess it's the same in US.

Take it back to the retailer and try it there.
See what he advises.
