Okay, so you've all heard of amps picking up radio signals, but my new fender bd decided to take it to another level.

I was playing, like normal, when I heard a weird noise - almost like a very small drill working. I looked across from my window to my nextdoor-neighbour's house, and I saw this dude pressure hosing/power hosing an old manky table.

Every single time this guy turned on his hose, you could hear it working as you normally would. But I had my windows closed, and where I heard this sound from was MY AMP!

I don't know what the hell that was all about but I reckon its something to do with the electrical current or frequency that his power hose gave off.

I mean, obviously his hose was electric powered, but why did it pick it up, through a window, and about 30 away!

It's bizarre! Any help????

Thanks very much!

that sounds like a pretty common case of amp ghosts theres nothing to be too worried with they usually go away in the spring

Usually pressure washers are gas. Are you sure it was electric? Some things to think about. Weird noises other than radio stations that you can't figure out where it is coming from are usually floresant lights, watch, or cell phone.

In the UK, they're always electric.
