First let me say, I'm sort of new to this guitar thing.

I recently played through a friends early 1960s Fender Vibrolux. It sounded AMAZING! So I started pricing some of the older Vibroluxes, Deluxe Reverbs, etc., and I've heard that these are "classic" fender amps (desert island kind of amps). Anyone want to guess what, if any, of the current amps out there are destined to become the next "classics" (ones we'll be telling our grandkids about)?

Prolly those same Fender Classics we play now...they are so well built and fairly easy to maintain, they should last ours and another lifetime!

But I would think some of the reissues out there like the Tweed Twins and Bassmans and the '65 Deluxe and Super Reverbs will still be around for a long time IMHO. And the SilverFace versions as well :D

Entire suburban subdivisions will be built upon land-fills populated by FM's, HR's, VR's, etc but the tweeds and the AB763's (whether vintage or re-issue) will still be soldiering on.

You can bet on it.
