Post subject: my blues junior is picking up the radio!

how would i fix this? its rather annoying. i'm using the tweed blues junior with the jensen speaker along with a Highway One HSS strat

I have heard about this from time to time. It is caused by the electrical circuit you are using.
I had a dedicated circuit put in for my amps/fx.

You could try plugging the amp in somewhere in the house and see if you still have the problem. Make sure you go to a different circuit though.

Cheap or too long of a patch cord can pick up a radio signal. You could try a different of better shielded cord.

does it still pick up signals when ur humbucker is on? (or does it just do it randomly?) cause it may be the pickups (if not, it's probably the patch cable, like that guy said)

Many amps do it - I have a marshall jcm2000, vox ac30 and they both do it. I recently bought a BD so haven't experienced it yet, but it does somehow pick up the sound of my neighbour's pressure hose!

sometimes guitars without shielding, the inside cavities lined with copper foil, will pick up sports radio. :D
