I have a FM212DSP which is older and the volume knob on channel2 is screwed up and I am looking to upgrade to a nice tube amp. Looking at 65 twin reverb re-issue or a marshall ma100c. i'd like to go with the fender, but im not sure ill get the distortion im looking for withiut pedals. i play 70's and 80's rock through a clapton sig strat now. Anyone have any thoughts on options?

How about a Hot Rod III Deluxe? They have pretty good overdrive, and would work well for classic rock. They're pretty loud too. I have a Jet City jca2112rc 20 watt combo, and I love it. I bought it because it was really great for the price, and now that I own one, I'd pay twice as much as I did.
