When I play through my Blues Deluxe on the gain channel after about 10 minutes it cuts out if i'm playing heavily. I usually play with my strat but I tried my les paul yesterday and it happened sooner. The light for the gain channel goes out and it goes really quiet.. you can still sort of hear the guitar through it and after a minute it fades back up to normal volume. I've recently changed the preamp tubes that aren't groove tubes but they are compatible. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX IT? I'VE HAD THIS AMP FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND I LOVE IT SO DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO REPLACE IT. :|

Hi osianjones25,

You probably need an amp tech rather than a guitar tech (I am pretty sure that the BDlx is an amp  ). Likely a solder joint problem, or maybe a broken circuit trace, in the power supply around the two 5 watt resistors. If this is the problem, it will require pulling the main circuit board to be able to correct. This area in the amp is the power supply for the channel switching, and the loop and reverb op amps.

I agree with Shimmilou about solder joints and so on ... (NO BDLx is not an amp, it's a toaster ! joking )
But if your amp is still under warranty, I recommand to bring back to a 7ender dealer for maintenance; 8)

The "+1 stuff" just means that they are agreeing with what someone else posted. In other words, add another one to the list of those that agree, +1. Often times it is nice for several to agree, giving confidence to the OP that the answer is sound. "OP" is original poster (you). :)

Normally, 7ender offers 5 years warranty expected on valves only for 3 months (and speakers ?); The warranty is transferrable I believe.

Conditional upon the owner's possession of the original bill of sale issued when the amp was sold as new by an authorized Fender dealer.

i've had mine more than 2 yrs. when i first got my bdri the speaker jack was defective and i replaced it. it had the same semptoms as yours. not sure if my gain channel light went on the fritz. but check that jack just to eliminate a possible problem.after all this time that is the only problem i had. i love my bdri.

As long as it's the original (not a copy), has the model and serial number clearly indicated, and you're within the 5-year window, you shouldn't have any problems.

Best of luck, let us know how it goes.
