Laying out the speakers; I will make the cabinet wide enough where either my Pro Jr or my Princeton Reverb will fit on top.

Can't hear it yet. Maybe I'll get the speakers in today.

I have many great amps but, my PJ is up there with all of them. I use it as the final testing ground for any and all guitars I'm not sure about. If I get any at all electronic noise from my PJ, it is not the amp. I know the guitar needs works. I find my silverface amps to respond as well also. If I ever ran into another made in Brea PJ and, it was not priced out of the ball park, I could see me picking it up. These things are baby Marshalls! They have a thump to boot!

Thanks Mike! I'm off to the Old Settlers Music Festival in Austin so it's on the back burner again. I hope to see progress soon, can't wait to hear it.

I was hesitant about buying my Pro Jr because of all of the negative comments on the internet. Bought it anyway and loving it. It should sound huge hooked up to a 2x12 cabinet.

Try putting an MI Audio Crunch Box into it....very Marshall-ish.

Mike the MI Crunch box sounds excellent. I have many nice pedals. I have some that I've have on an "add to" list and, this is one of them. I don't believe these are really that available anymore. The next big money drop I do on a pedal is going to be the Arc Effects Klone. I like the way the MI Crunch box sounds with single wounds more than humbuckers. I like to hear the MI with P90s. Andy from Pro Guitar does a good demo of the MI Crunch Box. Thanks for letting me know about it.

You're welcome.

I've been thinking about something like this lately:

Thanks,
It really is a sweet amp. I set my casino coupe up in open g last week and with the pro jr around 5.5 and the casino vol around 6 i can get some tasty tones channeling my inner keef lol i know i need a tele but sounds awesome. It's just so touch sensitive, I'm in love with the dynamics I can get beautiful bell tones out of it and then hit it for some real grit.
And all dressed up in the grey tweed she's one sexy little box.

A little while ago I had the chance to buy one of the original ones like mine. This one still had the original speaker. I did not have the money. I had spent it on two different guitars. One of the guitars I played through it and, they both sounded great together. When I asked about the amp last time they said it was gone. It is not the first time I was lied to at GC however.
