Likely all models, Reb.

FEIC only had the blackfaces fielded from July of '63 until December of '64. Seventeen months in total. It was an FMI (CBS) show after that -- from January of '65 until the spring of '67, when the first of the silverfaces appeared. Approximately 28 months.

And FMI's production surged significantly after CBS purchased the company -- some records indicate that the increase was some six-fold over FEIC's annual figures.

Cedarblues, some very nice licks and a couple of very nice amps. I've always liked the SR but my 57 year old back doesn't care much for it. I think that's why the DR is about everyone's all around got to amp. Just curious what year is your Super?

Thanks! I agree, the SR hardly leaves the house... it's a 73 and it's in great shape!

Again, my apologies to cedarblues, nopedal, and the forum. I should have remained quite!

Nah fhopkins, I always enjoy your posts and I don't feel you owe anyone an apology. It seemed like the remarks from nopedal were made just to push some buttons. Please don't worry about it.

Thanks Supro. I don't post a lot of technical info but I've sure learned a lot from people like you and the other gurus in different forums. It does not take long (if you take the time) to learn who knows what about certain aspects of the equipment we all enjoy.
I would never say that a members piece of equipment should be used as a boat anchor! That's what set me off!! For a few minutes I had forgotten my mantra! :)

Peace!

(sitting back learning !)

I'm all out of buttons to push

No need to apologize Hop, if nopedal has a problem with some of these wonderful amps it's up to us to show him/her the light :)

Good info RJ,I didn't know about that six-fold increase, that explains the abundance of some BF models out there now that have survived.

Hop,don't worry man,you said nothing wrong that I've seen...it seems that there's been a lot of people that have come to the forums lately with an attitude they must be refugees from other boards.

Here's a better recording of my '73 SR, using a mic in front of one of the speakers, NOT a digital camera :) I sure hope this doesn't sound sterile to anyone

Settings are almost the same, except the SR vol is at 7, reverb still at 3. No pedals were used, just my Strat and SR.
