Hi jamesyd,

You have no speaker jack to plug into, so if you want to use and external cab you will have to disconnect the amp's speaker and solder a jack onto the speaker wires coming from the amp.

If you leave the internal speakers connected, they will be in parallel with any connected speaker cabinet, reducing the total impedance connected to the amp to a value that can be much less than the 4 ohms that the amp is made for. For example, with the MC212, using both speakers and the internal amp speakers, that will be a 2 ohm total impedance that I wouldn't recommend for a solid state amp which is made for a 4 ohm speaker impedance.

However, if you disconnect the amp's internal speakers, and connect the MC212 in it's place, you will maintain the 4 ohm impedance for the amp, or use only one speaker of the Marshall cab for 8 ohm impedance which is OK also. The amp might be OK with a 2 ohm load, but use it at the possible risk of damaging your amp when used at higher volumes or when using distortion.
