Within the Fender corporate family you have three to choose from:

The tweed Deluxe re-issue (hand-wired)
The tweed Twin re-issue (hand-wired)
The tweed Bassman re-issue (PCB construction)

Well, they're not Fender brand, but Victoria amps are just about the closest thing to 50's tweed as there is,and they have amps like the Pro 1x15,and Super 2x10,the Deluxe and Champ.
I want one of their Supers really bad..it's the model 35210 I think.

+1!

Victoria builds some great stuff!

I omitted mentioning them merely because the OP seemed to be interested in only Fender-branded tweeds. Frankly, the Victoria amps are built to a much higher standard of durability, reliability and authenticity. And they offer a wider selection of models.

Thanks for the replies everyone.I was actually hoping for somthing a little cheaper than victoria though. Are none of the lower/mid range fender amps tweed circuit based?

The pro jr,blues jr,hot rods etc etc?

It just seems crazy that fender wouldn't release somthing in this range-surely their missing a trick here?

Agreed Arjay, did I say I want one really bad?
Ever since I started reading about how they were built the fever has been rising for the last two or three years.
To the original poster,I have one of the Fender '57 Tweed Deluxe Reissue amps and it's a good representation of that 5E3 Deluxe sound.
Sorry I know nothing of the Fenders that you mentioned, many here will, but I don't think they are tweed circuit based.....maybe somebody will know that.

Check out C/L south bend IN

No I have no connection with this guy, however he is selling That model Victoria at a very nice price.

I did buy a piedmont from him a year or so ago and all I can say is this guy takes excellent care of his gear.

I do believe the listing is still there.

The Blues Deluxe Reissue (which I own and love) has a sorta 59 Bassman tone stack but that's about it. If you want true Fender Tweed you will either have to spring for an original, a reissue (59 Bassman, 57 Twin, 57 Tweed Deluxe Reissue, or the Tweed Camp reissue) or buy one of the many clones, such as Victoria, out there.

I take a Victoria over a Fender Tweed Reissue any day of the week. How many amps can you name with a Lifetime Warranty? I've only played one and the tone was glorious!

And the odds are, the Victoria amp will never need repair -- only the routine servicing that all amps require.

You know......kinda like the Fenders of yore.
