I have a Super Sonic 60 head with a Zilla 2x12 cab open/closed back (G12H-30 and Vintage 30).

My problem is too much bass. Both channels. WAY more than I need. It does't help lowering the bass knobs.

I have tried swapping all the preamp tubes with EH and JJ, the sound changed except the bass.

I also tried opening and closing the cab.

I have tried running the guitar directly to the amp. It was a little better...

I suspect my pedalboard. My signal goes: Strat - Carl Martin Parametric EQ/Preamp - Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter - Carl Martin Hot Drive'n'Bost III - MXR EVHphase90 - EH Holy Grail.

Are the buffers inside the Carl Martin way too effective?

Patch-cables are George L's and the guitar cables are Planet Waves and Fender Platinum Cord.

I'm trying not to use an EQ to solve my problem since my amp should not be addicted to this.

Help me out here... I have sleepless night just thinking about this.

Have you tried any of your effects in the effects loop instead of into the input? Some effects work better up front and some work better in the loop. Maybe the EQ and phaser might be more effective in the loop. Typically, distortions are better in front, and time based are better in the loop, but that's not always the case, so try different combinations.
