Curious how I can tell the manufacture date for this amp. Its post 2000 (most online docs provide code up to 2000 and not beyond)

Serial number:AC 078632
Circuit is: AB763
Quality Assurance Tag (where all the docs say the date cod should be!):
"W"

Yeah, just W!

Anyways, if anyone can date this thing for me I'd be very appreciative!

You cannot decipher the hieroglyphics mounted in and on the chassis of a DRRI as to manufacture date. It is impossible; and an innumerable number of relatively normal human beings have wasted untold amounts of tirade and rant bandwidth bemoaning the connundrum, on this board. Do a search, and you will note the depth to which this frustration has descended upon the great unwashed. And those are just my posts (hey, the old stuff is interpretable and logical, on the web page even)!

An email here will solve the quandry (did for me last year anyway): consumerrelations@fender.com

Thanks for the info! I do wonder how hard it can be to serialize this stuff. All the websites I found dead end in the year 2000!

I hope they get back to me soon.

I'm not fussing about your post at all, Most people want to know what year their amp is manufactured.

However I think we need a permanent link at the top of this page

"to find the date of your amp go here" and have a link to the customer service guys

They have been very fast in responding to me any time I have asked.
