Bought a Junior (pre-dsp, 2002 model) and foound 2 problems.

The mid potentiometer doesn't do anything and the line/instrument jack doesn't accepts TRS jack (strange cycle) but works fine with mono jack.

I found the schematic for the pre-dsp version and opened up the amp.

The mid pot give me a reading but the board is missing 2 capacitors.

- C7 is a .oo68uF capacitor that is in the loop of the mid control

- C98 is a 20uf polarized capacitor that is in the loop a the power section of the left speaker.

Is there someone that ever encounter something similar. The capacitors are just missing.

Thanks

When I removed the circuit board, I found that there was capacitors there, they just broke. I will pick up the parts and see if everything works.

I was wrong... The parts were really not there. The wholes were filled with soldering but no capacitor wires in there.

I put in the new capacitors and now, wow!... The sound is not as muffled as it was and I can dial the mid.

For the TRS problem, my bad... I've try an Ipod without the dock (is not line level without the dock).

The model is a 2002 made in Mexico.
