Heard the amp is on it's way. Should have it next week early. Hail Mary's won't do it as I am more concerned about the Goddess at home... Every time she appears in my studio, I hear "you have SO MANY AMPS!"... sigh..

Whenever that subject is broached in the Retroverbial household, I merely mention her shoes!

That generally shuts her right up.

I know your all gonna call me a liar, but my wife not only encorages me to get the gear i want, she buys it for me too. without me asking !

I married the sweetest little country girl in town and that is no lie !

I know some of you saw the pictures i posted in the forum t-shirt contest, well there she is in her fender shirt right along side me, and the kids too.

Blues runs in my family

Hey Chet! Nice to see you're GAS'ing...always a good sign!

I'll put in a vote for the DRRI. Love this amp.

Time for new pictures, That one is a few years old now, i have many more grey hairs now LOL !!!

See the nice Tele shirt she is wearing ?

My son turned 19 yesterday, my daughter is nearly 16, man I'm feeling it !

No I dont have that 52 MIJ Tele any more, I really miss it too !!! I had installed all American pots, switch and pickups and that Tele was Sweet !!!!

You don't know what ya got till its gone, you know like red hair instead of this white stuff trying to take over.

The search is still on......

Trying to find the right amp and the right deal. I must admit that I have been looking at non Fender amps too.

I have a soft spot for some vintage Gibson amps. They are usually quite cheap. GA40 is a great amp in my book.

Some of those early '60s Gibson amps have a pretty nice vibe. And they can often be found for pretty cheap.
