Just bought a Super60 was recently gone through and seems like a great amp. Anyone else here own one and what have you done or has been done to your Super60. Nothing like a Fender clean tone on a tube amp!...Ed

I have owned and gigged with a Super 60 for over 20 years

They are fantastic little amps, with an incredible amount of volume

When the stock speaker died I replaced it with a Celestion G12 Century - which also makes the amp a little lighter

The modern speaker seems better able to handle my effects unit, giving a crystal clear sound

That little amp gets good reviews for a pcb. There are some mods out there to make it even cooler. It seems similar to my Champ 12.

I have been playing a Super 60 for about 20 years and it is the best amp since my pre-CBS Super that I wish I still had...The only modification is I recently upgraded the input jacks to all metal Switchcrafts. The original plastic inputs were well worn out and very noisy with a tendancy to short out. I recently replaced the 12AX7's and the 12AT7 for the first time ever. I'm holding off on the 6L6's until I find out how to re-bias the amp.

Played rhythm in a blues band for a year and a half with the Super 60 and an Electro Voice extension cab. Great clean and funk sounds! Yep, keep an eye on those plastic input jacks. A good amp built in the Great Northwest. ART
