ok so whats the tweaker gonna be singing through?

I think I'm going to go back and get the tweaker cab with the G12H. Seems to be a decent deal at 250. I played it through the Rebel cab Celestion Elite 80. Any thoughts on the tweaker cab?

Fifteen watts, huh?

Well I suppose three or four people might hear me (if their table were close enough to the stage).

Seriously, there's nothing at all wrong with these little micro-amps. By most accounts they sound pretty tasty and the fill a very specific niche in the overall amp market. But they're not what I do or who I am, nor will they ever be. I play aggressive guitar in a loud rock band -- I depend upon a certain amount of high-decibel interaction between my guitar and my amp to achieve many of my signature tones. The "Eggy", the "Cube", and the others simply "do not pack the gear to serve in my beloved corps". I began my performing journey forty-four years ago using mostly the same equipment I use today. That will never change. But for those still questing for their own tone and vibe via these smaller packages I say "More power to them".

'Nuff said -- rawk on, y'all!

My wife stood on a table to take that shot. We're to the rear of her, about 30 feet back. Later -- about the time we started our third set -- the place filled completely up and it was "SRO". Around 350 people, all told.

That was well said Arjay. Like the drag racers say, "There's no substitute for cubic inch". Seriously, like way cool said, I'd much rather own your amp stash than mine. You would think the tone would be improved with todays modern amps, not just versatility. I'm sure they are out there, but not within my reach. I got the micro amp for more or less a practice amp so I could get rid of my hybrid. Line up is all tube now. It does has studio possibilities though.

Studio work is where their true potential may shine the brightest. The engineer I periodically work with prefers I bring my '65 Princeton Reverb to a session. He'd prolly like my '68 Bronco as well. History was made forty years ago when the Pignose hit the scene. And with these newest micro-rigs with their novel features and versatility, it's still being made today.

You always meet the nicest people in a dog food store parking lot too.

They're only slightly less amiable than folks at a XXX video store in a strip mall near the "wrong side of the tracks".

So where's the guitar?

And more importantly (you knew this one was coming), WHERE ARE THE PICS?
