Hey, I have a Frontman 212R and am wondering if it's possible to change the amp jewel on it. I know you can with the higher end amps, but i've heard it both ways about the frontmans (frontmen?)

It seems a usual jewel but a LED instead of the 6.3V bulbe on the FM212 R but Not sure on the DSP, just a led.

+1 Tis-san,

benjamin2peters,
Look at the light from the inside of the amp chassis, you may be able to pull the LED out (snap-in with two plastic tabs), and unscrew a nut and remove the "jewel" cover. It isn't a standard jewel cover, it's made for the LED. You may be able to modify it, or glue on another cover of some kind, but the LED is likely a red one and it would need to be changed to change the color of the light, not simply changing the color of the "jewel".
