Silverface and blackface=big bang twang
I agree about the RI's sounding everybit as good as the originals.

I just noticed that the VT cabs under those Twins. Are you playing through the cabs and saving the JBLs? Or is this just a method of saving space in your "music room"?

JBL's weren't made to be "saved". I play it all!

But these rigs are best suited for outdoor venues.

Yeah, and the Twins love those "stadium" venues. Of course, with proper sound reinforcement, any amp that you can cut through the mix on stage will work. But Twins and Showman amps just beg for the Woodstock era concerts. 8)

Indeed they do. I often use my TRRI in conjunction with a '65 Dual Showman cab -- with a pair of JBL K120's and two JBL D130F's, I fear no venue!

I'll bet you fear no venue, with those two! And those two Strats sitting in front are mighty purty too, 'verbial! Is that an EJ in 'burst?

Both are home-assembled hardtails -- actually, the first and second custom Strats I ever built.

I finished the 3TSB about four years ago......well before Mr. Johnson decided he liked bound rosewood furniture. The one in Firemist Gold was done about six months later.

My rig as it stands right now.

Check out the P-90 epiphone, just found it on C/L plastic still on everything and near to Brand new 210 out the door.
The P-90's sound freakishly Good !!! as good as my Gibson melody maker for sure and the neck pickup adds so much variety to the tone too.
THe guitar had a pro set up before the guy decided to sell it, plays nice, the color is supposed to be TV yellow, more like butterscotch/Blond.
Its a custom shop model  Custom shop in China ??????
