and are you only using the speakers in the cab or stock speaker + cab? Just wondering cause I was watching this video wondering what he was running it through:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRGwaUOpwE8

If you were to not use the stock speaker you could run it through 2x16ohm speakers and not have a mismatch, but if you use the stock speaker (8ohm) plus another 8ohm speaker that means a 4ohm load which is not what PRRI is listed for.

does fender make an ext for this amp?

A Princeton pushes a pair of 16Ω twelves quite well......

Though the PRRI features an extension speaker jack, there is ample opportunity for mayhem should a significant impedance mismatch occur. The trannies in the original amps were designed and over-built to withstand substantial abuse but I would be loath to trust the components in the re-issues to tolerate any serious onslaught.

Yes, and yes. The amp began life in 1980 as a non-verb Princeton combo with the same 1 x 10 speaker arrangement as the reverb-equipped variant. Relatively milquetoast as vintage silverface amps go. Now it screams with its pair of JBL K120's......bright, ballsy, with plenty of bottom end.
