Can anybody do a comparison to the earlier SuperSonic 1x12 combo? I read a report that the voicings are fuller, and a bit less volume drop between the vibrolux and baseman settings. Also a more robust burn channel. Supposedly the volume taper was revised on the vintage channel for a more gradual increase. I had an earlier model and alway found the vibrolux and burn channels thin sounding.....also the volume went from off to "wham" in a fraction of a turn...

Is the latest SS60 as hissy as it's little brother the SS22????

I had old and new in the same room several times. Side by side, you would hear that the newer Super-Sonic 60 amps (head or 1x12 combo) have a little less treble and a little more bass than the original versions. We made subtle changes to each channel individually. This update was based on feedback from customers.

Thanks,
Shane
