In the interest of impedance...does that go hand in hand with ohms, is that another way of measuring ohms or is it completely different from the amount of ohms that the amp can handle? I made sure the speakers are wired correctly as the amp requires an 8 ohm load minimum and the wattage of each speaker is I believe 120 watts.

But, is there more I have to take into consideration?

For the purpose of this discussion, no.
Looks like you've made sure things are at the correct point with keeping the speaker load matching the amps recommendations.

Thanks everyone for the info. :) I'll have sound clips. Figure I'll roll through the amp with the cab using my Strat and then the LP. The LP sounds fantastic through this little amp! Next on the agenda is possibly looking into mounting the amp in the b-52 cab. However i don't want to kill my warranty just yet.

I just need to make a longer speaker cable so I can set the xd on top of the extension cab. Right now I'm forced to put them back to back for the most part.

Technically, impedance and resistance mean the same thing and both are represented in ohms.

Actually, "impedance" is a complex number with phase and magnitude. "Resistance" is the magnitude (real number) part of "impedance". :D

Yep, hence my reference to AC circuits. I usually associate an impedance as an AC component such as coil or cap or speaker, and a resistance as pure DC, but my college Prof would always tell me; "it is all impedance, the resistor just doesn't have a phase angle component".

So did mine.
