Hi guys, I have a fender dsp 65 princeton..and lately, I couldnt get to switch to dirty channel...and the DSP effects are off as well...I plugged a footswitch and it could do the switching..but still no DSP effects....do you think theres a problem with the Amp Button? When I play around with the Footswitch Jack pulling it in out of the plug...sometimes the Channel Button would respond..but go back again after I close the AMP..what do you think is the problem? Thanks!

Hi chichi,

There are lethal voltages inside the amp, and testing will be done with the amp turned on. If you don't feel comfortable working inside the amp, then take it to a repair shop.

You can check the test points (TP) to see if it is a possible switch or jack problem or if it could be something else. Page 1 of schematics, start by checking TP9, TP10, TP11 and TP12 DC volts referenced to ground, and see if the voltages are as indicated inside the square boxes next to the TPs on the schematic (left middle of schematic). For example, start with the foot switch removed and monitor TP9 (pin 1 of U10) while pushing the channel select button on the amp, the voltage should switch between +15 volts and -15 volts.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
