Well, I've been playing the blues for years and I just got enthrailed with it I was looking for a nice blues amp and I noticed most blues musicians use Fender. So I went online found the Blues Reissue Deluxe and Deville I've got 2 questions...

1) Is there any difference in the tone of the Deville and Deluxe?

2) Would it be a good decision to switch the speakers with Eminence Texas Heat speakers? because I want the sound of Texas.

Also any suggestions on how to get the SRV tone would help I already have an idea for a guitar though so please don't suggest anything relating to the guitar.

I can't really offer an opinion of speakers mate, some people like v30's, some like eminence... some like the stock ones. But I do have a list of tubes that produce IMO the best texas tone possible out of a Fender Blues deville:
Tung Sol 5881 matched set
v1= any 5751 'srv'
v2= Tungsol 12ax7 for gain
v3= GT 12ax7 SAG-mpi matched phase inverter

I was recommended this set up from a friend of mine, who used this set in his deville, and I was sold, I play more or less a mix between SRV and Jimi and I find this plus my 97' strat with lindy fralins and 11guage strings, does the job immacutely

What do the V1, V2 and V3 mean?
