Does the input of the Cyber Twin accept a Stereo jack? I recently bought a Rickenbacker with a stereo out and would like to take advantage of the stereo effects on the Cyber Twin.

Wow never thought of that.... I just checked my Cyber Twin SE and it has a double click input jack compared to my 65 Twin Reverb single click input jacks... Checked a couple of other amps and there all single click... But the Cyder Twin has a double click jack which means it's a stereo jack.... now how it's wired I don't know...But very interesting....Jakej :D :D

Hi cplumstead,

The Cyber Twin amp does not have a stereo input jack, it is a switching jack, and the switch is the first click that you feel. If you plug a stereo plug into the input jack of the amp, you will only get one side of the signal into the input, not both. It will accept a stereo plug, and you won't hurt anything if you try this, but you will not get stereo input, only a single channel.

nope, only a mono in to the CT or SE. However, the CT and SE do have "stereo" out.

the only real stereo on figure i know of is two SE's (or CT's) and using a signal splitter (a "Y" jack) between guitar and the SE's.

however... if you are going to get into this, try something like: http://www.littlelabs.com/pcp.html

And that's a real weakness of the CT's, SE's and the Mustangs. It would have been real smart of fender to add that "ouptut" so that you could daisy chain a few amps. Even the tube amps would benefit allowing for some real interesting setups.

ciao,
johnny.
