I just picked up a 4-12 A Marshall cabinet for my JCM 800 2204 model to go with my 4-12 1960 B cabinet. The amp has a 4 and 8 ohm setting on it and both cabs are 8 ohms, what setting should I put the dial on 4 or 8 Ohm?

In they are connected in parallel with each other, 4 ohms.

Great, thanks,I followed your advice and nothing blew up lol,so that's alright.A few people were saying that the Vietnamese cabs and Celestions were junk but I was pleasantly surprised that they sounded pretty good although they had way more pronounced mids and highs than my 1960 cab but that had G-12-L-25s which were great speakers for a 50W Marshall 2204.Both cabs together really produce a full sound with bottom cab having more bass response and the top having such a good high end response. Not bad for $180.
