Nebulous assertions of anonymity to "protect" feigned celebrity is the last refuge of a poseur.

Not sure where all the ugliness came from, we're just talking about an amplifier.

It is entertainment though for those of us who read these forums every night. Kinda like watching a train wreck I guess!

i guess some of you may be unaware of the old saying: the higher an ape climbs the more he exposes his bald azz. can i ship you some bananas? address a local zoo?

and back to the cyber twins, why they are the greatest amps in the world, why fender discontinued them, and maybe fender's plans for a Cyber Twin Mark-II?

ciao,
john.

A real rock star would send an autographed boxed set of all his Grammy-winning CDs.

yo, toobers, so how do you keep an ape suspense? tell you later...
ps, i ain't a crock star. i drink booze, no recreational pharmaceuticals of any kind, don't smoke either, i pass my blood & piss tests. my gray/white hair is well groomed, face shaven every morning at 6am. i work out hard everyday. i don't do suffering musician. i drive jeeps. i cook and eat healthy. keep wondering.

but shall we get get back to the subject of why the cyber twins are THE best amps ever made? and how could such a great amp be discontinued? you know, like the showman? i suspect some toober, deeply entrenched at fender, with an axe to grind (you know the type...) might have had an input or two... revenge for the showman. i wish Ritchie were back. i am hoping a cyber twin mark II is planned for roll out. I have moollah.

ciao,
john.

If attitude were money you'd be a mutha-fuggin' billionaire!

But it's not.

So go plug your Cort into your beloved cyber-turd, break out your Mel-Bay book, and teach yourself a new chord.

Nobody's joining in because your world-wide "legion" of fellow CT fans have retired for the evening......all three of them.

Man, this is some sick forum when our pal Johnny digs in. I do agree with him concerning the value of the CT.

For what it is worth, I absolutely love my CT. It hasn't replaced my tube amps, but it is a fine, fine addition. I know that one day my CT may die with no repair possible. To date it amortizes to about $10 per month I have owned it, and I consider that acceptable.
It is not an investment that will maintain its monetary value, but it has been an investment in education, in opening my mind to aesthetic possibilities, in inspiring me to write and play. And it is fun!

I was afraid Fender was abandoning development of the technology, delegating it products like the GDEC. I think Fender has raised the ante significantly with FUSE, the Mustang III, IV, & V. There is obviously ongoing investment in the technology and I now again have hopes for a professional level Cyber-Twin Mark II, with the ability to virtually build component specific circuits.
